Sun Blot

Northern Sun Blot Ritual with Grandmother Spider:
The northern sun blot will bring a distinctly desert aspect to the ancient
northern tradition of offering toasts to the gods.  The Volva, or holder of
the staff, will claim the space as sacred and invite all free people of like
minds to drink to the goddess who influences the desert the most, Sunnu, the
goddess who drives the sun chariot across the sky.  But instead of the
traditional mead, the drinks will be the stuff that mead is made of, water,
lemon juice and honey.

This ritual will be short and fairly casual.  After the claiming of the space
protective wards will be set and spirits of the desert will be invited to join
in.  Paper cups will be passed out and filled with honeylemonwater and toasts
will be offered loudly and from the heart by all who wish to join in, with a
little water from each toast cast to the ground as an offering to the gods.

After a formal final toast the wards will be released and the ritual ended.
There will be a trash can set at the western altar for exiting celebrants and
the area will be policed for jugs and cups.

Amber Raven-  Opening Ritual

The Coven of the Amber Raven recently celebrated its 3rd birthday.  We are an eclectic teaching coven based out of Glendale, AZ.  Although we call ourselves eclectic, we tend to lean towards the older less worked with Deities. Coven of the Amber Raven is open to new members in January and July of each year. Check out our website for more information.

"Circle of the Silver Star"

Eclectic based ritual with you on Pagan Pride Day at 4pm.  The Circle of the Silver Star, is a newly formed Nature based circle.

The Ritual we will be performing is combining of Celtic and Egytian mythology into the natural aspects of the seasons.  We will be offering a celebration for Mabon and the Harvest.  Participants will be encouraged to celebrate the bounty of this time and give thanks as the Sun God offers the harvest of his labors.

Ashlar Ziven and Noel Etoile*

The Ritual will combine our love of ancient Egypt and the Harvest for fall.  A simple pyramid of power will be cast and the participants will help usher in the 5 elements and raise a cone of power to the apex of the pyramid.  All will be encouraged to gather and enter into our interpretation of this celebration.
